I would like to thank God for providing for me to go to Isaiah 61 All Africa Women’s Conference 2010 in Kenya.
The Lord has done great things for me in 2010 and one of them being the opportunity to go to Kenya. Before I went to this conference I prayed that the conference will raise my spiritual level, will renew my strength and for God to reveal to me of how I should praise him more.
During the conference we had many teachings which opened my eyes of understanding. I learnt that before promotion there is testing. Before God blesses us he breaks us first. This teaching gave me an understanding of what has happened to me. It made me to understand all the good and difficult times I have gone through were all God’s will. All the difficult times were my testing because my promotion came to pass.
We need to thank God for everything. We also need to thank God for all the problems because they strengthen us and prepares us even for bigger problems. God will not let us go through problems which we won’t overcome. I have come to an understanding that when I am faced with a problem the first thing to do is to pray to God and leave the situation in his hands because he is God almighty. Give Lord the praise for every situation. Most people tend to testify of the devil more than God, we confess more of the bad things than the good things. Don’t let the devil harvest for you. We should not be deceived by the devil. God will never fail us.
When we walk with God he will wipe us of our tears. He will renew our strength and we will fly like an eagle. Jesus will wipe our tears and we will never cry again. He will open the doors for us and resurrect what is hidden (Luke 7:11-15).
The Kenya conference increased my understanding of how to live life in Christ. I would like to encourage everyone to attend these conferences because the preaching and teachings from there will change your life and increase your spiritual level in God.

I grew up in a church environment back in Zimbabwe. I was so much involved in church activities at a young age. As I went into my teens, I got busy wanting to please myself. I thought I was living the normal life of a teenager experiencing life. My life was displeasing to God. I was not reading the bible or praying as I used to do. The church that I was attendind didn’t help me either because it was spiritually dead. After spending years trying to get satisfaction from the world all I could get was misery, disappointment and pain. I realised that my life was heading for disaster and I needed to turn to God. I started praying to God to help me find a church which preaches the true gospel. I then moved to the UK in 2007. My family joined me the following year. I tried different churches but could not find salvation. I found most churches were more interested in their financial statements more than the number of confessions of faith. God directed me to Ashford Kent in 2009 where I met my sister who invited me to Fountain Church. After attending two services I thanked God for answering my prayer and directing me to his church where His spirit overflows. I received Jesus Christ as my personal saviour and got baptised in water. After few months I received my gift and got baptised with the Holy Spirit. Today I am happy to say I am a new creation. Jesus changed me and gave me love for others. My relationship with my wife and family was renewed. I am a better person than before and I thank you Jesus for straightening my life. I will continue praising and worshiping Him all the days of my life because He is the only one who deserve all the glory and honour. I will never regret believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and becoming a child of God with a new life in Christ; one with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Amen!

I want to thank the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY for giving me the opportunity to go to Kenya in October 2010. I really enjoyed myself, there were great preachers who gave us the Word, and spiritually I was transformed and equipped to be a soldier in the army of the LORD. Many sermons were taught but the one that really touched my heart was about being a Soldier in the Army of the Lord.
1 Chronicles 12, Warriors join David. A soldier is trained to be a soldier in all times, when the commander of the army calls, soldiers should respond. In the Army of the Lord there is order, you just don’t do things the way you want, you are given instructions and you must obey. Jesus is the chief commander in the army of the Lord. If you want to be in His army, You have to be someone who is prayerful, and equip yourselves for battle even if you know that He will fight for you and win.
You must be obedient to the commander of the army, You must know how to fight, where to fight and which weapons to use in different battles. Soldiers fight with different weapons hands, mouth, ears, they fight with everything they have. The commander knows all the weapons, that is why He gave us Isaiah 54:17 which says “No weapon formed against you shall prosper”. So I urge you all to be like David who was a mighty warrior who used his mouth as a weapon and won the war against Goliath.1 Sam 17:46-58.
