What's happening...
BELLS YOUTH PROJECT!!!
We are very excited about an initiative that we want to re-launch this year. The Bells youth project is an initiative that we started in 2009 but due to lack of resources were not able to sustain. We are however pleased that there are avenues opening up for us to pick up this initiative once again and to create a project that will help the youth of our town.
The project is a recreational and educational initiative aimed at secondary school aged young people. Our aim is to reach out specifically to young people from the ethnic minority population in Ashford, of whom many are refugees, and to offer activities through which they may discover skills and talents that can be adopted as potential career opportunities. We believe also that such initiatives foster a culture of integration into British society as well as an understanding and tolerance of other cultures within our community. Giving young people focus and outlets for expression be it through sport, the arts or other means, is the key to a prosperous tomorrow in which young adults have a vision and a work ethic, which they self-discover and nurture. |

If you are not able to join us, please be encouraged to support us either financially or in prayer as you feel led. May the Lord bless you and I hope to hear from you soon.
